Shut down of the State Library

Gov. Malloy's Plan B calls for the complete shutdown
of the State Library!

What does this mean to you?

  • No CCard so you cannot use another public library in the state;
  • No more CCar deliveries of library materials around the state, so you cannot borrow library materials from other libraries and have them shipped to your home library;
  • No more iCONN research databases, so you cannot search for full-text articles, medical information, legal information, business information and students (K-college) can no longer do research for their studies;
  • Nearly 9,000 blind and physically handicapped CT citizens can no longer access the LBPH library;
  • No access to government information, state history, archives and more.

Contact your state representative
and say "NO" to Plan B!
